Dallas College Celebrates NJCAA Day

DALLAS – Dallas College Athletics recognized the importance of the student-athlete experience in celebrating NJCAA Day.

The National Junior College Athletic Association honors Thursday as NJCAA Day. This year's theme is Empower the Future: Building Legacies.

"At Dallas College Athletics, we believe sports are more than competition – they're a catalyst for growth, leadership and lifelong impact," Dallas College Executive Athletic Director Lynn Nabi said. "Through mentorship, academic support and community engagement, our student-athletes are building legacies of excellence, resilience and service."

Dallas College sports in men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, baseball and eSports.

"Whether they go on to play at the next level, coach or become leaders in business and life pursuits, their journey starts here – with purpose and integrity," Nabi said. "We're not just building teams. We're building legacies."
